Take it slow and then you'll be able to speed up. I would go into your Chart of Accounts, run a quick report on each income/expense/account etc, select all transactions and import them into GnuCash. I would make them all top level accounts and then restructure them in GnuCash the way you like.įor transactions, it's more of the same. It'll take some getting use to but then it gets really easy. Up in the header you can do Excel -> Create New Worksheet. Make sure all of your accounts are active (you'll want to bring them all over and then deactivate them in GnuCash after you've cleaned everything up).
